The Ganesh Chaturthi is on 9th September Monday 2013. Khairatabad Ganesh 2013 is "Sri Gonaga Chaturmukha MahaGanapathi". The Khairatabad Ganesh idiol was completed 59 years. Due to this ocassion they are placing 59 Feet of Ganesh idiol. The height of Khairatabad Ganesh is 59 inches. The right side of Ganesh Idiol vijayarama Pattabhishekam. The left side of Ganesh Idiol Sri Bhuvaneswari Devi (Shakthi Maata). And The Back of Ganesh Idiol Big Snake with Five hoods (Padagalu).
Rajendran is prepared the Ganeh Idiol.
Tapeshwaram Laddu was placed in Ganesh Idol's hand it is of 4000 kgs weight. It is placed with help of crane. On the ocassion of Vinyaka Chaviti Governor Narasimhan has visited the Ganesh with his wife and attend pooja.
what does the term gonaga mean in the name gonaga chaturmukha vinayaka swamy.. and is it correct to place the fourth head in the above rather than in the back side..
